The Great Pumpkin Came!

Tonight the wonderful Aunt Lindsey & Uncle Wade held their annual "Great Pumpkin Party".  Our kids talk about this all year - the night that the "Great Pumpkin" rises from the pumpkin patch and brings present to only the best kids!  (Shocking that our kids qualify for this).  Every year, all the kids wear their matching glow-in-the-dark skeleton pjs and party at the Empies.  This year, Aunt Lindsey had her own pair!  Turns out the Great Pumpkin brought presents for Morgan and I - our OWN skeleton pajamas!  We were so excited, we came right home and got changed!  We decided to take a family picture on our bed!

This was taken just as Morgan and Marin jumped on the bed after setting up the camera - when they sat down - the bed broke!!  We all tried to stay in our spots but the top half of the bed was on the ground - we had no idea how bad we had broken our bed!  It was crazy funny!

The kids dashed off the bed and Morgan and I kept smiling for the next shot!  We could not stop laughing!!  Here is the damage, it broke toward the top on my side!  Morgan and I were able to place some screws in and put it all back together but it was pretty funny - the kids were so wired up we could hardly get them into bed!

This is our next attempt to take a family picture on Maxwell's bed - he was practically crying, so afraid that we were all going to break his bed.  We did three shots of this too, here is the last shot - Marin and Hattie are cracking up!!

Last chance shots, before Family Home Evening tonight we tried again!  These ones are much better!  Thank you, Great Pumpkin for our skeleton pajamas - we love them! I have to admit I really do love them, snuggling and warm!!
