Happy New Year!

GoodBye 2010!

We have had a wonderful year – we have been very blessed with many season of fun adventures, great events, and several crazy moments!

WINTER:     The winter was busy with snow, snow, and more snow.  We enjoyed many days drinking hot cocoa, shoveling snow, and bundling up!  The end of winter brought glasses for Manhattan – she loves them!  Maxwell started to get active, rolling and crawling, getting into everything.  In Ohio – winter seems to drag along at the end but that makes spring all that much more magnificent!  I love the sight of the daffodils & tulips peeking through the snow!

SPRING:     Spring brought our annual trip to see our family out west.  We love making this trip every year and the time seems to go too fast.  We always come back to Ohio wishing we lived closer.  Maxwell was blessed with our family together in California – he is such a delight.  Marin achieved her 2010 personal goal – no more diapers.  Yeah!

SUMMER:    Summer brought around the 11th year in Toledo – so amazing!  We were able to take a camping trip to Sleeping Bear Dunes in Michigan.  I could have stayed there forever – it was fabulous!  We also took two trips to the Cleveland Zoo – we even rode a real camel!  Adorable Marin turned 3 in July.  The end of summer brought school days again – Manhattan is in 3rd grade and Marin is in preschool this year!  Yeah!

FALL:     We love fall!  We enjoy filling our afternoons with huge leaf piles, trips to apple festivals, pumpkin patches, farms – every single chance we get.  Our Maxwell turned 1 and become a toddler!  He has keeping us running ever since.  This year for Halloween, we had an adorable dinosaur, beautiful Ariel, and an enchanting Cleopatra at our house.   Fall was beautiful – always the season we call our favorite!  J

WINTER AGAIN:     This time of year always has me wondering why we live in Ohio – it gets so chilly!  We started winter with Manhattan’s 8th birthday and her baptism into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.  We even had family visitors from out west, Grandma Annie, Piper, Phoebe, and Paizlie Tafua.  We had a wonderful time with them!

We hope that your year was good and that next year will be even better.
May the Lord bless you and your family in every facet of your lives.

I'm finally catching up on everyone's blog. Your kids are getting so grown up (not that I have to tell you that!) and Maxwell is a stud! Sorry to hear about your car, stupid snow right?
