Grandma Laura is here!! After she arrived, we went to Red Robin for dinner and opened Marin's birthday presents from Grandma & Grandpa Smith and Daddy, Mommy, and Hattie. Marin ate her usual 4 slices of cantaloupe as well as fries, lettuce, and lots of water. She has mastered the art of drinking with a straw and loves cold water!
Red Robin was such a zoo that we didn't wait for the song and ice cream. Marin loved her birthday gifts - expecially the tissue in the bags - she seemed to figure out the gift opening pretty quick. She loved her princess legos and little kitchen. It was a fun evening -we are having an ALOHA shin-dig with friends next week and we will do the official birthday cake eating etc.
P.S. After dinner last night she weighed in at 20 lbs so we turned her seat around - yeah!

How fun to have birthday fun with the little ones. They grow up so fast! Marin looks stunned...the usual 1st birthday look. Hattie is more excited than she is and you look like you weren't sure you wanted to be in the picture. Classic family celebration event. Love you guys! Can't wait to see your Luau pics. The invite was was very well n done I might add. I forgot to tell you that earlier. I loved them.
