Happy 1st Birthday Marin!!!
We can't believe it - Marin is 1 today (at 3:11 pm). It has been a crazy year with lots of changes but we have all survived! Some bragging notes on Marin. She is walking, she has eight teeth, she drinks from a sippy cup, she climbs and climbs and climbs, she is loud - kind of a yeller, she nods her head for yes and signs for "drink" and "eat" (same sign for her) and "more". She likes stuffed animals - Hattie's Care Bear doll and a baby doll! She will eat anything and everything and has a great appetite. She already likes Baby Einstein. She is strong-willed and a pretty happy baby! She has a great smile that makes us laugh no matter what! At the doctor's today - she weighed 19lbs 11 oz and 30 inches.

Is she heavier that Hattie was at one?
Did she get to have cake today? If you let her eat the whole thing she might tip the scale to 20 lbs!
What a doll! Happy Birthday to Marin, and Happy Making It Through The First Year to Mom and Dad--bittersweet, but a relief in many ways. These pics are so cute and you are so good about your blog--always new, fun stuff on it! Thanks for keeping us informed!
Maybe my doctor was a rebel, but he gave us the go ahead to put my kids in their forward facing carseats at about 19 lbs or so =) She is so cute, happy birthday, and luckily she's only 1 so she doesn't know its belated!
