They all did it!

At the beginning of 2014, our Primary Presidency challenged all the children in our primary to memorize the 13 Articles of Faith.  Every child that memorized all 13 would receive and awesome temple cookie made by our wonderful Primary President.

Manhattan & Marin have done it before but we did need to help them brush up.  Manhattan accomplished it in the early Spring, Marin got on the ball and finished in September.  We tried to convince Maxwell that he needed to do it too but he didn't care.  We asked if he wanted a big temple cookie and he said "he would just ask Santa for it" - he kills us (so smart) but it cracked us up!  Our Primary President loved that!  We realized we needed to get going with Maxwell - I didn't really think about it before but we knew he could do it!  After Marin and her friend Nathan got their cookie he was a little more motivated - then we realized his friend Felicity was almost done - that is all it took "do you want to get a temple cookie like Felicity?"  Yep, he was in - he loves Felicity!

We started in September and in a matter of a couple months he got them all memorized!  He actually finished them the second week of November - it was pretty impressive!  He was so proud!!  The thing that was the funniest was watching him point to the words as he "read" them.  By the end of this process he was reading some of them - he has all of a sudden started to read - it is crazy!

So here he is with his temple cookie!  No there are not pictures of the girls, I missed getting a picture of them with theirs - they starting eating them in the car on the way home!  Maxwell was patient so I could get a picture of him!!
