6 Month Check-Up

This morning we went in for Maxwell 6 month check up. We were a little late since we were out of town (he will be 7 months next week). He weighed in at 17.5 lbs (50%), height 27 inches (75%), head 17.5 inches (75%). So although he is a little chunky - he is also tall and has a big head! He is looking more like a Smith boy everyday!

While we were at the doctor our "on the spot" Nurse Practionier Michelle noticed that Maxwell's throat was quite red. She immediately checked Marin and saw that she had a raging case of strep. Yikes! I don't often look in my kids throats but it was obvious when she showed me! She was a little tired yesterday and kind of fussy in the afternoon. At 9pm she had a high temp last night (103) and we were a little worried but this morning she was a little warm but nothing more! By the time we got home from the doctor she had returned to being fussy and went right down for a nap with no lunch. Nothing like a little sickness to start the weekend!
