So, when is the right time to decide that you are done having kids?
- Immediately after you find out you are pregnant
- When #1 turned 7 - that is enough to make me feel old!
- Right after labor when you are holding your miracle
- When #2 is screaming through the car wash - so upset that even though you are holding her hand and she is still weeping, she now sees the car wash and says over and over "I no like car wash - I no like car wash". Very sad!
- The first time the baby smiles
- When #2 accidentally pees on you while she is going potty and you are down in front of her encouraging her - she didn't have her legs closed enough, obviously.
- Wrestling a screaming and fisty 2 year old with only one shoe on and carrying the baby carrier out of the playland - yeah that was fun!
- In the temple - had to throw the right answer in :)
- During your two hour break to get your haircut and color!
- When #3 wakes up every 1.5 hours to nurse at night (he won't take a binkie or a bottle) - yes, I am ready to make him cry it out!!
- When you have changed another big messy diaper!!
- or . . . let me know - add to my list of some of your favorite kid times!

O.K....
When #1 parades his whole gang of friends into your bathroom with you in your once in a year, afternoon bath, because he was bitten by a bee, and daddy was busy in the garage!
When #3 and #4 are in diapers and they love it!
When #2 says, "Don't worry Mommy, next time will be another girl!"
When your last child goes to kindergarten, sort of late?
When your last child goes off to college, way too late!
When #1 has had a bad day at school and is unconsolable, #2 is screaming at the top of her lungs because #3 left her Big Wheel next to the trash can and the garbage collector is smashing it as #4 is trying to nurse and you (Mom) expose your breast to the whole of the neighborhood as you try to rush out to save your children. That is when #5 was history!
- When you're face is over the toilet bowl and you're puking your guts out.
- When you're baby niece or nephew is crying and you look around for his/her mother to pick him/her up.
- when you're holding a baby and it smells like it needs a diaper change and you go looking for his mother.
People ask me if I'm done with having kids. I simply tell them the love is gone to wake up at 2:30am to breastfeed.
