All of our friends that have moved away from here - you are going to be homesick by these pictures (or so happy and relieved)!
We have had a lot of snow and it just keep snowing! We went out last night to drop off flyers for Girl Scout Cookies and ended up playing in the snow for an hour! We made plans to hop up and go sledding this morning. We decided to shovel ourselves and some neighbors out first while the girls watched cartoons!
After bundling up with tights, long underwear, three pairs of socks, snow pants, sweatshirts, coats, gloves, hats, and scarfs - we were off to the snow hill! We grabbed Hattie's best friend Lauren and we headed to a sledding hill behind Toledo Hospital.
We were one of the first families there and the snow was deep - we were lucky to have a family before us to flatten out the snow! Once a path was made it was lots of fun - we lasted for about an hour and then we headed home to defrost! Manhattan and Lauren are so fun - they have gotten really brave and loved going down the hill - coming up always had some whining along with it but they did it over and over. Marin LOVED sledding - when we went down with her she was scared at first and then you could hear her giggling!
Big success! I think it is time for us to buy snow pants for Mom & Dad - we are seeing that both our girls love the snow and I hate being wet and cold! I spent a lot of time kneeling in the snow today pushing the sled down the hill!
