Sledding At Ottawa Park, Toledo

Ok - so we got a bunch of snow yesterday and decided to take advantage of it today! We went sledding at Ottawa Park behind Toledo Hospital. It was a lot of fun! There was a great hill. The snow had packed down and was very slippery!!

This picture of Hattie and Marin in the sled was before we started. Soon after this Marin started crying and we promptly bundled her up and she fell right to sleep!! Yes, she was warm enough - two pairs of socks, pjs, sweatsuit, slippers that kept falling off, mittens, and hat and a large blanket wrapped and wrapped!! In the end, she pretty much missed the whole thing - that is pretty much the way it goes when you take a 7 month old sledding!!

Hattie was a amazingly brave and went down a lot of times alone. She ended up going down backwards a few times! It was so much more fun than last year! She prefers to go down with Morgan because somehow they go more straight!


This last picture is of Marin after we climbed back in the car and she woke up with a huge smile on her face. She was wondering what we were doing - she missed the whole thing.
