Another family day - we love TOLEDO! This adventure was out to Maumee Bay Park on Lake Erie. We first adventured into the nature center and hiked around the trail. The only drawback was that we were so overwhelmed by the Mayflies - they are crazy! They are rampant during late June and they stick to everything. It was a little freaky when we were biking and they would cling to us! The kids kind of hated them! It was kind of funny but they were crazy!
The best part is always the beach and the sand! I love being at the beach with the kids! Even when it is cold, they still enjoy playing in the sand! I love it!
