Hattie's 1st Day of School
Today was Manhattan's 1st day of school! It was pretty crazy but pretty exciting because she got to start in a brand new building! We have been so lucky that Toledo Public Schools has been replacing new buildings in our area and Hattie's school was done for this school year!
She loved her new class and her teacher Mrs. Nagy and she says the building is "breathtaking" - that cracked me up. The first day was only a half day which was nice for all of us to get used to her being gone. I think we are all going to miss her a lot - especially Marin
!Here are some pictures of Hattie in her new classroom. As you can see Marin pulled out the chair next to Hattie, put her backpack on the ground, and settled in. All the kids that knew Hattie and Marin from last year were laughing and saying "she can't sit there" we had to get out of there cause we were causing a little ruckus!
Hattie said she loved the new school - they toured the school and did some fun school work. Tomorrow she has gym so she is excited about that!
How many times can I say that I love school uniforms - she is so cute and there is no battle for us. She just chooses something from that part of her closet - it is so wonderful!

That's great for Hattie! A new school is something special. I can't believe she's in the second grade. Enjoy this month before everything changes again! You'll do great at balancing it all.
