Happy 2nd Birthday Marin!!

We decided to celebrate Marin's birthday early this year. We didn't plan very well and ended up being really busy on her actual birthday between Morgan working, a Girl Scout Training meeting, playgroup etc! What is wrong with our lives when we can't hold one day! Augh!

Oh well - can't beat ourselves up! She was plenty excited to celebrate early. We went to Red Robin on Saturday night and she loved when the employees sang to her - she did not cry - she loved it! For the first time we ordered her own meal and she ate it all and then ate the ice cream sundae too!

We decided we would get her a new bike with the steer and stroll bar for us - it is wonderful!!! Now we can walk her around the block while Hattie rides! It is so much better than crouching over her old bike! The only problem was when we went to put it together on Monday it had a broken storage box and broken front wheel! Luckily we were able to trade those pieces in. Morgan and Hattie got it together perfectly and Marin was so excited with it!

Just adding some more photos of Marin when she opened her presents from Grandpa & Grandma Smith - she received pjs, new outfit (I tried to take a picture of her in it but she got it dirty before I could), a new pair of shoes - she has worn them three days in a room, and a water baby which she loves!! Yes I know these are similar pictures - I was trying to get a normal smile but it was very forced for sure!! If you notice all the bumps - she got lots of large bug bites (6) on Monday - so this is three days later! She is a funny girl!
