For all you people that used to live in Ohio and moved,
those that have visited, or those that have never been here - Ohio is TERRIFIC! We love Ohio, we love the fall time festivals the most! Yes, I dread the winters that follow but right now I love Ohio!
The leaves are starting to turn colors and fall. We are having the most perfect weather and jeans in the am - shorts in the afternoon. All the apples and pumpkins are harvesting. Halloween is right around the corner!
It is my favorite time of year! AUTUMN!!
We had our first fall activity a few weeks ago - apple picking! And now the festivals begin - we went to one on Saturday in Waterville, Ohio (of course) and had a great time!
We had a picnic lunch, played on the swingset (that had ground cover made of ground up tires - so soft) rolled down a hill, used a porta potty (big terror), got fresh squeezed lemonade, and funnelcake (our 1st time).
Manhattan helped to make a log cabin quilt square (so cool), nailed a tin pineapple (will be a Christmas ornament I think) and a cut a fancy snowflake. The local artisans are always terrific!

I'm so jealous. I looove fall, but esp. in Portland, which is probably a shorter, wetter version of the true Autumn of Ohio. Lucky! Fall is my favorite, too!
