Marin's First Steps

Tonight Marin took her first steps! Hattie took a bunch of videos but this was one of the best! She was pretty funny - towards the end she would only walk to whoever had her binkie. Then it was off to bed and right to sleep - she was exhausted!! We are all pretty excited! We will see how long it takes before she is really walking independently - she wasn't so sure about the whole thing tonight!! Hattie is so excited but she doesn't realize how complicated life will soon get!
Marin is also so fast going up the stairs that we have had to put up a baby gate - she loves going up the stairs but she is unsure of how to get down. We try to let her as often as I can but someone has to be there with her. She quickly scurries up the stairs and then turns around and leans forward - she would totally fall from the vey top without a second thought!! She does not seem to be afraid of anything but seems just willing to climb on everything and the fall down. She likes to climb on everything - couches, tables, and then fall right off!

Wow! Everyone is growing up so fast! She's going to be into everything now... Look out and good luck! I remember those days all to well. Nothing is safe anymore. Next she'll be climbing onto things to get something out of reach! Those little devils learn quick!
What a cutie! She will be a genius just like her sister (and parents.) I can't believ how well Hattie is already reading. Your kids are too cute.
